TODAY ()
This
function shows the current system date. The result will be updated each time
the worksheet is opened and every day an entry is made anywhere on the
worksheet.
Best view in desktop mode.

Formatting
The result will
normally be displayed using the DD-MMM-YY format like in cell A2.
